FEARLESS LEADER: DAVE
Born in Guangdong China during the cultural revolution, his father took his mother to the hospital on the back of a bicycle to give birth to him. Came to USA to get an education. Went back to China where he lives with his family and is involved in every detail day-to-day in running the operation.
DAVE'S STORY
Dave, the founder and CEO has a long interesting story. Born in the small town of Foshan, China, during the cultural revolution, his father took his mother to the hospital to on the back of a bicycle to birth him.
He grew up relatively wealthy for the time and place, and for this birthday every year he would receive two eggs. The housing unit had no heat, air, running water or even a fan. They shared a public bathroom with twelve other families (pictured).

An outstanding student of English, he was sent to an exclusive school to train to become an English teacher at a very young age. At 17 the family moved to the United States where he had an inglorious career delivering Chinese food from a small China Town restaurant.
After putting himself through college (helped along by a perfect math SAT score) and earning an electrical engineering degree (second on his class at the Pratt Institute) – he went on to get a Masters of Computer science. At that point, during the 90’s, his family in China called upon him to help exploit all the new opportunities China had to offer.

Fluent in American English and culture, as well as Cantonese and Mandarin and armed with an engineering degree, he was perfectly set up to build the family business. He has two very successful children in the US who both have graduated from Emory University.
Still an American citizen, today he lives in Hangzhou with his wife (from Hubei) and son, who, like his father, is fluent in Chinese and English at four years old.
THE GANG
We actually operate as a “gang” in getting what needs to be done, done. Titles, roles and influence is based upon skill, grit, desire and ability to get the job done. Jobs and positions evolve to meet the job. Everyone is constantly evolving to meet new roles as the companies develop.
